Changes will be made to Edinburgh Trams' Conditions of Carriage with effect from Friday 1 May 2015.
Most significantly:
- Cold food can now be consumed on board Edinburgh Trams.
- Hot and cold drinks in sealed containers can now be consumed on board (includes coffee cups with lids).
Tom Norris, Director and General Manager of Edinburgh Trams, said:
We’ve decided to relax some of the restrictions for food and drinks on our services after listening to customer feedback. These are simple measures but we’re always keen to hear from customers and we like to act on this when we can.
